Plague Inc. Multiplayer Launches  on PC

Plague Inc. is a game which allows players to create a pathogen to infect the world. The game released a multiplayer version which allows players to compete with each other to see who can infect the world first. Here is what creator James Vaughan had to say:

“Players get all new evolutions, abilities and genes to help them in their struggle for dominance as well as slowing their opponent. Single player was just the start of the outbreak.”

Homemade RPG Teaches Acceptance of Decline and Death

Therapist Kyle Ballentine seeks to teach acceptance of decline and death in a new RPG Maker project called, To Ash. Unlike most RPGs, where the player starts out at a low level and gains new abilities as they progress, To Ash starts the players out strong then slowly depletes their abilities.

“Instead of getting stronger, you get weaker as you go along. The main character is old and dying, so you actually level down and lose skills as you go.”

Ballentine states that he works in a mental hospital where teaching coping techniques is a must.  He hopes the game can articulate some of his teachings to others.
