More Destiny: The Taken King Details – No More Dinklage

Bungie dropped much in the way of The Taken King details today (maybe to compete with Microsoft’s conference?). In the new expansion, all your experience will now contribute to your level from 1 to 40. That means no more leveling gear. Speaking of gear, all of your old gear will become pretty useless after a few missions in The Taken King. This is pretty normal with MMO’s though. And finally, Peter Dinklage will be completely removed from Destiny. Bungie has hired Nolan North, the voice of Nathan Drake from Uncharted, to be the voice actor for new and old content. We have yet to hear any comments from Dinklage on the matter.

What you need to know

  • XP gets you from level 1 to 40 – no more gear levels
  • Year One Gear doesn’t mean much in Year Two of Destiny
  • Peter Dinklage will┬ábe removed from Destiny
